Cushing Regional Hospital Diabetes Education Center has a mission for the continued improvement in health care of Cushing and the surrounding areas. A team of qualified educators will work together with your physician and other healthcare providers to coordinate your individualized diabetes care. The Cushing Diabetes Education Program has a hands-on approach to diabetes care that includes small groups, personalized feed back, discussions and demonstrations with registered dietitian and nursing staff.

Assuring high-quality education for patient self-care is one of our primary goals. Combing the support of the CRH healthcare team with increased knowledge and awareness of the condition, a patient can self management his or her diabetes.

Our diabetes education classes are taught by a team of dietitians, registered nurses, physical therapists and pedorthists to address all aspects of living with diabetes. The classes are recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting standards of care for living with diabetes.
